Thank You: 2 Words That Can Change Your Life!
Why are we humans such demanding selves? We expect so much from ourselves, it’s not even okay!
Have you ever felt like you are not doing enough? Like you are not up to the challenge? Like you are a disappointment? Wow……. slow down…… were you about to say yes to that?
Let me tell you one thing: there is nothing or no one that measures your greatness, only you.
So, how about you start by checking off what you ARE doing and the good things that are happening first, and after you have acknowledged that in your life, only then: allow yourself some room for growth.
Gratefulness is such a great gift, we just have to know how to use it and cherish it, in order to live life to the fullest.
What do I mean by this exactly?
Learning to appreciate the little things in life, can give us a 180 degree spin of perspective in how AWESOME our lives actually are. Yes, your life is awesome too!
Cut yourself some slack!
Saying “Thank You!” are 2 easy words that can create so much impact in others and in ourselves.
By sharing them, you allow the energy of that action or thing that happened to you to be a constant thing in your life.
An important factor of gratefulness is that we should have it even before something good happens. Being thankful in advance, brings manifestation into place in making sure that the good thing will happen again.
For example, if you usually have trouble sleeping, mentalize yourself having a good night of sleep. Before you even go to bed, imagine it, feel it, and be grateful knowing that you WILL wake up rested tomorrow. Then, as you go to bed, you have allowed the gratefulness energy to bring what you wanted to you.
The next morning you wake up by saying “thank you!” and you attract this to happen to you every single night.
So, I’m going to share with you my personal secret in saying “Thank You!” to life every single day and allowing myself to be grateful about the small things (and the big things too).
As I was advised by Jen Sincero on her book “You Are A Badass” (a must-read btw), I write every night before bed 10 things that I am grateful for that day. I now have done it for almost 3 months and I have learned to appreciate something the exact moment it happens by thinking “Wow, this I am writing down tonight!”. It puts perspective on your life.
Not every day is as awesome as we want them to be, but there is still always something to be grateful for.
10 things to say “Thank You” to, keep that in mind and your life will start to look a whole lot different (and better)!
From the sun shining, to you grandma’s hugs, to a great song, there is always something to smile for.
Continue to bring the energy and the things you want in your life by saying “Thank You” to them and letting life do the rest.
